To ensure Outdoor Switch stays rain-tight, receptacles should be facing downward with the weight resting on the mounting screw.
If you plan on using your device with both iOS and Android, it's recommended that Outdoor Switch be setup first with the iOS device.
All iDevices products work with both iOS and Android mobile devices.

Using Your iDevices Outdoor Switch

The LED will remain off unless it needs to show a status issue.
The accessories that are plugged into the iDevices Outdoor Switch should not exceed the ratings on the packaging/product (max is 10 amps).
Both receptacles will operate simultaneously and are not controlled independently.

Problem Solving

Unplugging and re-plugging the device can quickly resolve many issues.
A blinking orange night light indicates a loss of Wi-Fi connection.
Be sure to turn on iCloud Keychain to avoid any HomeKit errors.
