During Instinct setup, if you receive an error screen for Connection Failed, please check for the following potential issues and try setup again.
- Instinct should have a spinning LED ring, indicating it's ready for pairing. After 30 minutes, pairing mode will time out if Instinct has not been connected. To put it back into pairing mode, press either the bottom left or bottom right button once. When the orange ring begins spinning, try the app setup again.

- For iOS 14 users, be sure to Allow Instinct to connect to your local network during setup. You can also toggle this on in the iOS Settings > Instinct Switch app settings.
- Check that your Wi-Fi network is connected to the internet. Once you have an internet connection, try setup again.
- If you have multiple Wi-Fi networks such as a 2.4 GHz network, a 5 GHz network, or a guest network please connect your phone or tablet to the 2.4 GHz network for initial setup.
