The notification that “Something went wrong during setup” typically occurs when the product has difficulty joining the Wi-Fi network. Ensure your iOS device is connected to a 2.4 GHz network band using WPA or WPA2-PSK (AES) security. If you adjusted the network connection, attempt the setup again. You can attempt to power the device on or off, and try the setup process again. If after a power cycle the product re-joins your network, you can attempt setup again in the iDevices Connected app.
If the app is not prompting you to scan or enter the HomeKit code, there may be an issue with Apple’s HomeKit platform. Please open the Apple Home app on your iOS device. The Home app may prompt you to turn adjust specific settings. Additionally, if you see “Loading Accessories and Scenes,” that indicates an iCloud sync is in progress.
