iDevices Socket is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. For the best user experience, if you plan on using your device with both iOS and Android, it's recommended that Socket be setup first with the iOS device. Once both setups are completed, any available firmware updates can be run from either the iOS or the Android device.
- Hold the button on the Socket for 3 seconds and let go.
- The LED on the Socket will turn solid blue to indicate the Socket is ready for pairing.
- Open the iDevices Connected app and complete the setup process
Note: When using Socket with both an iOS and Android device, the iOS device will be the administrator device for creating and managing schedules. If your Socket is already connected with both an iOS and Android device and you attempt to put the Socket into pairing mode by holding the button for 3 seconds, the LED will blink blue but will not go solid blue. This is because both available pairings are already taken up.
