Getting Started:

Battery Installation

To install your iShower² batteries, follow these steps:

1. Lift the iShower²
2. Using a coin, rotate the door lock located on the back of the iShower² counter-clockwise to unlock the battery door  
3. Remove the battery door by lifting it from the left side
4. Insert the (3) three supplied AA batteries with their negative terminals (flat sides) compressing the springs
5. Ensure the batteries are secure and replace the battery door
6. Using a coin, rotate the door lock clockwise to lock the battery door

 Battery Precautions:

• Do not mix new and old batteries
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc) or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc.) batteries
• Dispose of spent or damaged batteries according to manufacturer and local laws 

Powering On & Off

To power on the iShower²:

• Press and hold the power button, located on the front of your iShower² for 2 seconds until the display reads “HI.” You will see the iShower² logo start to blink.

To power off the iShower²:

• Press the power button located on the front of your iShower². The display will read “BYE.”

Pairing 

To pair your iShower² to your Bluetooth^® enabled mobile device or tablet for the first time, follow these steps:

1. Go to your mobile device or tablet settings and turn Bluetooth on. For specific questions on how to enable Bluetooth on your mobile device or tablet, please refer to its manual.
2. Power on the iShower².
3. Hold the "Bluetooth/Pair" button for 5 seconds on the iShower² to enter Setup Mode. The screen will display, “USE1 OPEN.”
4. Press the "Play/Pause" button located on the front of your iShower² to select, “USE1.” The iShower² will try to pair for up to 30 seconds. 
5. During these 30 seconds, select the iShower² in your Bluetooth settings on your mobile device or tablet. 
6. Once the connection has been made, the iShower² logo will stop blinking and turn solid.
7. If you wait too long to select the iShower² in Bluetooth settings, the pairing may fail and you must repeat the process again from the 3rd step. 

To connect additional iShower² users (up to 5) follow these steps:

1. Go to your mobile device or tablet settings and turn Bluetooth on. For specific questions on how to enable Bluetooth on your mobile device or tablet, please refer to its manual.
2. Power on the iShower².
3. Hold the Bluetooth/Pair button for 5 seconds on the iShower² to enter Setup Mode.
4. Open user profiles will be displayed as, “USE # OPEN.” Use the Forward and Backward buttons to select the proper USE#.
5. Press the Play/Pause button to select the displayed user for setup. The iShower² will try to pair for up to 30 seconds.
6. During these 30 seconds, select the iShower² in your Bluetooth settings on your mobile device or tablet. 
7. Once the connection has been made, the iShower² logo will stop blinking and turn solid blue. 

Mount Installation

1. With a wet cloth, clean the surface you are attaching the mount to. 
2. Wipe the surface with a dry cloth.
3. Peel off protective cover on back of the iShower²
4. Place the mount at desired location with the iShower² logo facing the right way up.
5. Press the mount against your surface for at least 60 seconds.
6. Wait 24 hours before attaching the iShower² onto your mount.  

Using the iShower²

Navigating Between Users   

To navigate between saved users on your iShower², follow these steps:

1. Press the "Bluetooth/Pair" button located on the front of your iShower²; this will enter User Select Mode. The iShower² will display the last user connected.
2. Use the "Forward" and "Back" buttons to select a USE#. The iShower² will only display users that have been paired previously.
3. Press "Play/Pause" to select a user. If a user is in range and Bluetooth is on, the iShower² will connect and begin playing audio. If the iShower² does not connect, it will display “USE# FAIL”. Make sure your device is within range, powered on and that Bluetooth is enabled. Repeat Section 3.1 to attempt connection. 

Overriding Users

To replace users on the iShower² follow these steps:

1. Choose Selected USE# that you wish to override by navigating through saved users with the Forward and Backward buttons. Press the "Play/Pause" button to select.
2. Hold the "Bluetooth/Pair" button for 5 seconds.
3. Press the "Play/Pause" button. The iShower² will try to pair for up to 30 seconds.
4. Tap on the iShower² in your Bluetooth pairing list on your mobile device or tablet to pair the new user. 

Play/Pause/Forward/Backward

• To play tracks, press the "Play/Pause" button.
• To pause a track, press the "Play/Pause" button.
• To skip to the next track, press the "Forward" button.
• To listen to a previous track, press the "Backward" button. (Note: This works with select audio apps).

Clock

To set the clock on your iShower²:

1. Hold the "Clock" button located on the front of your iShower² until the display starts blinking the current set time.
2. Use the "Forward" and "Backward" buttons to set to the desired time.
3. Press the "Clock" button again to set the time selected. 

To Display Clock time:

• Press the "Clock" button to display the current time. The time will display for 5 seconds.

Calls

• To answer incoming calls from your iShower², press the "Backward" button.
• To ignore/end a call on your iShower², press the "Forward" button.
• To switch a call from the iShower² to your phone, press and hold the "Play/Pause" button for 2 seconds. While still paired to the iShower², you can switch back to the speaker by pressing and holding the "Play/Pause" button for 2 seconds.
• You can only receive calls from the iShower²; you cannot initiate calls.

Resetting Paired Users

This will reset the iShower² to factory settings. All of your saved user profiles will be erased and the clock will reset.

1. Hold the "Play/Pause" button and "Bluetooth/Pair" button at the same time for 10 seconds while the iShower² is powered on.
2. The iShower² will display “CLR Pair” 5 times, then power off.

Note: When attempting to set up a previously paired mobile device or tablet with the iShower², you will need to select “Forget This Device” from your Bluetooth setting options in order to create a new, clean connection.

Low Battery

When the iShower² battery life is almost depleted you will receive a “LO BAT” warning. This warning will pause your music for up to 5 seconds while giving you the notification. The iShower² will still play audio, but it is recommended that you replace the batteries (details outlined in section 2.1).

If the batteries are too low for the device to play audio, the Bluetooth logo will blink red and will not allow you to use the device until new batteries are installed.

Problem Solving

The following information covers some of the most common questions with the iShower².

Q: Can the iShower² be submerged in water?

A: No. The iShower² is water-resistant, not waterproof.

Q: Can I stream to multiple iShower² devices at once?

A: No, due to limitations with Bluetooth, you are only able to stream to one iShower² at a time.

Q: How many users can pair with the iShower²?

A: The iShower² can remember up to 5 users. Only one user can be paired at any given time.

Q: What is the battery life?

A: The battery life is up to 25 hours.

Q: What is the Bluetooth range?

A: The Bluetooth range is up to 200ft, line of sight.

Q: What happens if I walk out of range and lose my connection?

A: If you walk out of range and your connection is lost, the iShower² will remain in pairing mode for 5 minutes waiting for your device to be in range for reconnection. If you are back in range within 5 minutes the iShower² will automatically pair and play. If the iShower² does not pair to your device within 5 minutes it will power down to conserve battery life.

Q: Can I access Siri (or other voice controls) through my iShower²?

A: The iShower² does not support voice controls such as Siri. If you are playing audio through your iShower² and use a voice control on your device, the audio will pause until you are done interacting.
